A weather day at Camp 3

It was snowing today, with pretty bad visibility for most of the day in the 14,000 ft basin where Camp 3 lies. They weren't able to climb up to high camp, but enjoyed a few turns on the hill above camp when the visibility allowed. They'll wake up ready to go again tomorrow and see what the weather brings.

Here's Mel with the evening phone call.

  4. Hello Mel, you and the rest of the team seem to be on the way to the top, and enjoying the trip up. Lets hope the weather cooperates the rest of the way and you get to see the world from the top of Denali. Enjoy the 4th with a great stary night, maybe some shooting stars to celebrate 234 years of independence. Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Hamilton, Madison and all the rest would be proud of what your doing, but they probably ask WHY?
    Keep on Trucken.
